Brie, Peach, and Honey Grilled Sandwich
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 7 slices crisp bacon, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp TurmeriX™
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 8 ounces of Brie cheese, sliced
- 1 ripe peach, thinly sliced
- Honey, for drizzling
- Coarse salt
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme
DIRECTIONS:
- Turn on your barbecue onto medium heat.
- In a bowl mix butter, bacon and TurmeriX™
- Spread the outside of each piece of bread with the butter.
- Layer the peach slices and the Brie cheese on the inside of the bread.
- Optional : Add a slice of bacon if you want more decadence
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with thyme (keep some for your cooked sandwich)
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the top piece of the bread.
- Put your sandwiches on the barbecue for 5 min each side.
- Once cooked, add some thyme and coarse salt and savor this tasty sandwich!
