TurmeriX™ Pork and Pineapple Pizza


For the crust:

  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 4 tbsp TurmeriX™
  • pinch of salt

For the toppings:

  • 1 lbs ground pork
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ cup pineapple pieces
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese balls
  • 1 tbsp TurmeriX™
  • 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste


For the crust:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F
  • Mix sifted flour, TurmeriX™ and salt together.
  • Add butter and knead quickly with fingertips.
  • Incorporate water and mix until well blended.
  • Your dough shouldn't  be sticky. Add a bit more flour if needed.

  • Roll out the dough into a round pizza crust, approximately 10" in diameter and 1/8" and 1/4" thick, and bake for 15 minutes on an oven-safe tray.


While the dough is baking combine the ingredients below to make the toppings:

  • In a large sauté pan, on medium-high heat, fry the onions.
  • Add the meat.
  • As it cooks, add the spices including the TurmeriX™ and then the barbecue sauce.
  • When pork is cooked through, remove from the stove.
  • Pour/spread your mixture on your crust, add the pineapple, the mozzarella.

  • Bake for 20 minutes.
