Smoothie Combos

Carrot, Ginger and Pineapple

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 large ripe banana, previously peeled, sliced and frozen (more for a sweeter smoothie)
• 1 cup of frozen or fresh pineapple
• ¼ tbsp of TurmeriX
• ½ tbsp fresh ginger (small knob, peeled)
• ½ cup of carrot juice
• 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
• ½ juice of a small lemon

DIRECTIONS:
• Add all the ingredients into the blender, blend on high until smooth and creamy.
• Add more carrot juice or almond milk if too thick. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more pineapple or banana.
• Lemon adds acidity, ginger gives more bite and and TurmeriX more warmth.

Other combos:
1. Milk, frozen banana, 1 or 2 pitted dates, TurmeriX……….Yummm.
2. Coconut milk, banana, honey or dates, TurmeriX.
3. Pineapple juice plus a dash of freshly squeezed lemon juice, TurmeriX.
4. Mango, pineapple, almond milk, TurmeriX.
5. Apple, carrot, ginger, TurmeriX.
